The Kawartha Chapter of APICS is presenting complete exam and study packages for those interested in writing the certification tests.
The certification preparation packages include instruction, study guide, sample questions, readings and the fee for the certification exam.
The Kawartha Chapter of APICS is again presenting complete exam and study packages for those interested in writing the certification tests. We currently have one group moving on to Execution and Control of Resources and are starting the test sequence again with Basics of Supply Chain Management, which is typically the first course in the certification sequence. The certification preparation packages include instruction, study guide, sample questions, readings and the fee for the certification exam. Testing will be on November 12. Please apply by the deadline of Friday September 23.
Basics of Supply Chain Management – October 15, 22, 29.
Explore the basic concepts in managing the flow of materials in a supply chain. In
the Basics, you get a complete overview of material flow, from internal and external
suppliers to and from your organization. Note this is a 3 session course and can

Execution and Control of Operations – October 22, 29.
Focus on the areas of prioritizing
and sequencing work, executing work plans and implementing controls, reporting activity
results, and providing feedback on performance. The course explains techniques for
scheduling and controlling production processes, the execution of quality initiatives
and continuous improvement plans, and the control and handling of inventories. Topics
include:
